On the 7th of March 2012, Amy Ellison (27) was discovered deceased on the hallway floor by one of her young children. Amy was the mother to three young girls and was also pregnant with a fourth. She lived in Brigham Landing Road in Girard, Georgia USA. According to Burke County Sheriff Alfonzo Williams, the murderer likely came to the house in the middle of the night. He goes on to say; “In the middle of the night, early morning hours, there was a knock at the door and we believe Amy responded to that knock and she was shot.”
Over time the police have not revealed any more information, except to say that they do not believe that the murder was random and that her pregnancy may have had something to do with the motive.
