On the 8th of November 2019, Graciela Garcia (49) went missing from Hermiston, Portland, Oregon. Graciela who also goes by Gracie and Chela had made plans to drop food off to her son who was staying with his father. However, she never showed up and has not been heard from since.
Graciela has 4 children and owns and operates Careyes Beauty Salon out of her home on 298 E. Hurlburt Avenue. Though most of her children are grown, her 14-year-old son splits his time between her and her ex-husband's house.
The night that Graciela went missing, her son was worried because she never showed up to drop off food as they had planned. At around 7 p.m. Graciela sent a text to her son and placed 2 missed calls. However, when her son tried to call her back it always went to voicemail. This was especially worrying as she always had her phone on and to hand.
Her son then alerted his siblings and the family went to Graciela's house to find that her car was still in the driveway and everything inside the house was in order - with nothing missing. Graciela was officially reported missing on the 11th of November and the police have since treated her case as suspicious.
Graciela is 5-foot-4 and weighs 140 lbs. At the time of her disappearance, she was blonde however her natural hair colour is brown. She had immigrated to the USA from Mexico as a young child and she met her now ex-husband in Oregan. He too had grown up in Mexico and the family loved to travel.
